Shenzhen is located in the People's Republic of China. Depending on your travel plans and your nationality, you may be required to acquire a visa to enter China. Please consult the website of the Chinese consulate in your home jurisdiction to confirm this information. Some travelers to Shenzhen may qualify for the Visa on Arrival or the Visa Free Transit system that has been recently implemented, but please pay close attention to eligibility, fee requirements, and any limitations or requirements on your travel plans in China. If you have any doubt as to whether you qualify for visa on arrival or visa-free transit, we would advise acquiring a visa prior to your trip at the Chinese consulate responsible for processing visa applications in your country of citizenship or legal residency.
